Laura Kroeger is a screenwriter and filmmaker based in Washington, DC.
Laura is a published film writer, screenwriter, ACES-certified editor, Grand Prize Winner in the Final Draft Big Break screenwriting competition, and alumni of the Women in Film and Video Narrative Script Development Fellowship.
Laura writes about the stuff that sends you down a Wikipedia rabbit hole at 2 a.m. She infuses social consciousness into each of her projects, which center on women who collide with the limits of what society expects from them. She explores how the world around us impacts us, and how we in turn can impact the world.
She has over a decade of experience working in politics and the federal government: as a congressional staffer, a Defense Department analyst, and a city government lobbyist. She gained perspective on workplace dynamics and human nature that inform her writing and consulting daily.
